Excellent staff.....very down to earth and very close to main highway and the interstate
Poor customer service, rude, and not worth your time. Highly recommend skipping this place.
RUDE. Called this place, about availability & got extremely rude comments, for no reason. If you're having a bad day, this is no way to draw in renters.
Right off rip I can prove everything with pictures, videos, money order receipts, and hand-written receipts from Sun Lake RV in Chet's handwriting just in case Chet wants to say we didn't stay there. Well I'll start with the good list as I feel that is fair. Bathroom/showers are CLEAN at all times, great location just off 75 and central to everything, laundry is reasonably priced and they work just as they should, lot rent is reasonable, its a small place, they have the dumpster emptied more than enough, and generally very clean place. Now the bad right off rip both Chet and his wife (the host) are beyond abrasive, when we first called Chet played the place up like it was a Resort. Well let me tell you the dog run is a joke a major joke. Fire ants let me tell you about fire ants the place is infested majorly with them! The lawn service sucks. The pool that he will tell you they have you're not very welcome to use it. I didn't have one interaction with Chet where he was not rude and most of the time just downright abrasive. I understand that he is older and would rather have a 55 and older RV Park. But on the phone he told us we were welcome. So we went. When we arrived late unfortunately due to a tire blowout on I-75 southbound. His wife told us at first we were not welcome. After calling chat a few minutes later she let us set up. I asked about an electrical deposit. She said there was none. Even though on the phone Chet had told me it was $50. Which was no big deal and I had it with me all in cash. Shortly after setting up Chet came around and was a complete... well I won't use that word but he was very unpleasant. Stating how I was trying to hustle his wife out of the $50 electric deposit. Even though I asked her well over five times about the $50 deposit Chet had told me about on the phone. Each time she kept telling me no there was no electrical deposit. Even after I pointed out the sign just behind her that said it was a non refundable $50 deposit. Well during that confrontation and that's exactly what it was a confrontation. I was called a liar as well as a few other Choice names. Either way I handed him another $50 and he left. For the most part minus a few of Chet's rude comments to my wife and myself we didn't have too many issues. Until we had two 21 gallon gas tanks siphoned bone dry out of my truck. And then after 3 months of being there like magic my power bill went from $40 a month to 130 dollars. Mind you I have a 1981 23 foot Suncrest Class C RV. We disabled the roof AC and installed a window shaker which is only 5 ton. Also my RV is unique because it has three and a half inch insulation added to all walls and flooring. For those of you unaware that is the same type of insulation they make walk-in freezers out of. And that is on top of all the factory stuff. So if anything my power bill should have gone down instead of up. When I went to Chet to talk to him about it he told me the meter doesn't lie pay up until I stated I would just call law enforcement then. Then all of a sudden he was quote unquote looking into it. But still expected me to pay the bill. Also while there 3 permanent residence trailers were broken into. So we pulled out and went to another RV Park. So in closing I would not recommend this place to anyone under 55 years old as they were not very nice to my four-year-old son or my wife or myself who are both 30 years old. If you're over 55 you are more than welcome there and will more than likely have a great stay. Just as long as you don't leave your rig there when you're not there.
